Images from Tahrir and Egypt’s Elections

It is the eve of the first presidential elections in post-revolutionary Egypt. There is an overwhelming amount of material in the press right now about the elections and speculations on who will emerge as the leader of what is being dubbed as the “Second Republic.” I will write about the presidential elections after the winner is announced. I also plan on addressing other issues of equal importance such as the new constitution, transition of the SCAF, and relations between the major political blocs post-election.

For today, I will leave you with some photos from Tahrir Square in March.
